X2 Mini-Mill Fixture Plate This is version 1 of the fixture plate we use. In fact, we haven't taken it off the table since it was put on. We've put the 4" screwless vise right on top of it. Use the locating holes with dowel pins to give you quick and accurate perpendicularity (square) with the table. Use the "quick-origin" hole to quickly locate a known origin position on your table.
X2 Mini-Mill Fixture Plate
Version 2 Now with more locating/threaded and 4-corner
"quick-origin" holes! (Thanks Bill for the suggestions!)
Simple to make tap block Use a piece of scrap metal from your bin and make a small tapping block that'll ensure that you tap straight.
X2 gib strip vise If you want to make replacement gibs, this little jig will help you hold the tiny gib for machining.
Simple DRO display holder We made a simple holder for our Positron 3-Axis DRO display, but this could certainly also hold your Shumatech or other DRO displays.
G4003 12"x36" Lathe Rolling Stand We made a rolling stand for our G4003 lathe from Grizzly.
